~Appointments are usually scheduled once per month, but can be scheduled more or less frequently, if you prefer. Appointmants usually last 3-4 hours on average, but can be shorter or longer if necessary.

~TATTOO PROCESS:

~We start with a quick consultation via email to make sure we agree on moving forward with the project.

~ Then we will schedule an in-person consultation at the shop. Make sure to bring 4000kc deposit in cash ***THE DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE (see below)*** Also bring any images or examples of tattoos you like, for reference. These can be saved to your phone or on paper.

~At the consultation we will make some notes about the details, share contact information, and set up one or more appointments in the calendar.

~A few days before your appointment I will send you a sketch via email or sms, for you to review. You can then let me know if there are and changes you’d like to make, and on the day of your appointment, we can discuss in more detail, and make any necessary changes. WE DRAW EVERYTHING ON THE SKIN WITH A PEN, SO WE CAN MAKE CHANGES UP TO THE MOMENT THE TATTOOING BEGINS!

***I AM DEDICATED TO MAKING TRADITIONAL IREZUMI DESIGNS IN THE TRADITIONAL STYLE. THAT MEANS WE HAVE TO RESPECT THE TRADITIONAL IMAGES AND TRY TO MAKE THE DESIGN LOOK LIKE AUTHENTIC IREZUMI. Sometimes that means that we don’t get to choose all the details ourselves, rather we have to defer to tradition. IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL OVER ALL THE DESIGN DETAILS, I MAY NOT BE THE RIGHT TATTOOER FOR YOUR PROJECT. LET’S DISCUSS THIS POINT IN DETAIL WITH YOU IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS. My goal is always to listen carefully to what the clients wants and needs, and to exceed their expectations. But always staying true to the traditional designs as best as I can.

***TOUCHUPS: I use the best powdered tattooing pigments available. They hold up really well for decades in the skin in most people. Some colors do not always heal 100% solid the first pass. For that reason I prefer to have a short session at the end of the process to touch up any colors that didn’t go in 100% solid the first time. Once we get everything solid, as long as you don’t expose the tattoo to too much sun, you should not ever need a retouch or recolor. The final touchup session is charged at my normal rate of 4000kc per hour. I do my best to get everything solid the first time, but I can’t control the differences in skin or the healing process.

***PLEASE AVOID SENDING EXTRA EMAILS ABOUT THE PROJECT. Doing so makes it very difficult for me to keep projects moving smoothly and on time. Thanks for your cooperation on this point!

***DEPOSIT DETAILS: Your deposit is non-refundable. Please make 100% certain you can COMPLETE the project before booking. You will pay for each tattoo session in full, and then AT YOUR LAST SESSION WE WILL DISCOUNT YOUR DEPOSIT. If you do not show up for an appointment without 24-hour notice, you may lose your deposit and may have to pay another one. I understand unexpected things happen and there are situations out of our control. So please just let me know in advance if there is any problem coming to your appointment.
